Family Healthcare Community Health Business Partner Program
Introduction:
Many Southwest Utah businesses are unable to offer healthcare coverage benefits to all of their employees. That’s where Family Healthcare comes in. A Southwest Utah non-profit provider of affordable primary healthcare services to the uninsured and under-insured, who are often employees of these businesses. The Community Health Business Partner Program honors businesses that support access to affordable, quality healthcare for their uninsured employees. Businesses that contribute even modest levels of tax-deductible financial support to the work of Family Healthcare clinics in Iron and Washington counties will receive partnership level recognition and benefits that can, in turn, be shared with their employees. When a business demonstrates concern for the health of their employees and supports the place they receive medical, behavioral, and dental care, then it compensates for the lack of an insurance benefit. Family Healthcare offers the following benefits to our business supporters through our Community Health Business Partner program.
Benefits:
- Support your employees and their health journey.
- A thank-you plaque, presented at your office, and ready to be hung in a prominent location that is visible to employees and visitors.
- Advance notice to your employees for education seminars, vaccinations, and Well Child clinics.
- Access to health education information based on employee patient needs.
- A “Giving Back to Community Health” story about your motivation for giving – to be shared with local media, and posted on the Family Healthcare social and digital media, as well as your own.
- Permanent recognition of support at the new Family Healthcare clinic at 2276 Riverside Drive, St. George, opening fall 2021.

- Wellbeing Community Health Business Partner – $1,000 to $4,999
- Honoring Community Health Business Partner – $5,000 to $9,999
- Legacy Community Health Business Partner – $10,000 and up

David Larsen When you're suffering from a chronic health problem establishing care with a new primary care physician can be very challenging. It's extremely important to find the practice that will help you and move you in a positive direction. I went to Family Healthcare and saw a PA who listened to my health situation and he made the decision that my care needed to be handled by one of they're physicians which I understood and appreciated. The PA didn't just refer me to the physician he also got the ball rolling on my care. The next day I received a phone call from Rachel a medical assistant (she may be a nurse so please forgive me if I got her position incorrect) she asked me questions and intently listened to my story. Rachel was fantastic, she analyzed my needs, told me what services Family Healthcare could offer me, told me what she would do and she delivered. I received several calls since then making sure that the services and care I had requested was actually being delivered, which it was. I also received a call from Yesi, a wonderful young woman who had me come meet with her to determine what help she could offer to my care and life in general. Yesi was fantastic and really stepped up to provide not necessarily medical needs as much as critical life needs that I'm in desperate need of. When you're suffering from a chronic health problem you need more than basic medical care unfortunately and stuff like that isn't easy to find so when Yesi came through with the help she is providing it was truly a blessing. I am stuck with the medical condition I suffer from and it's a constant battle to survive but I sleep better and worry less now because I have Family Healthcare on my team
Shannon Welch Dr. Page is an amazing doctor he always listens to my concerns and is very patient with me. It has been a long time since I had a doctor that actually listens and cares. Thank you Dr. Page! I have also seen Maryellen and her MA Cierra and they are so sweet and caring. I have been through a lot of trauma in my life and if it wasn’t for Maryellen I don’t think I would’ve survived. She is kind and caring, she really listens! She really knows her stuff and she never makes you feel like a crazy person. Thank you Maryellen and Cierra!

Bernice Perez Highly recommended to see the dentist. It’s based on your income if you don’t have dental coverage. The dentist is very friendly and kind. The young man at the reception desk is very friendly, nice , polite, and very professional gentleman.

Angelina Benson When it comes to the family healthcare pharmacy I cannot stress enough and tell enough people go there if you’re looking for medication at A dang good price, especially for people to pay cash. You’re one stop shop. If you’re looking for a pharmacist to be empathetic understanding you know anything. Their Pharmacist there is the most amazing guy people talk about doctors and pharmacist going above and beyond for you. That’s no other words could explain it better further. I can count they have taken a step further beyond duties as a pharmacist pharmacy. You know what they get paid they take a step further there’s been a medication to the pharmacy, especially before they closed. They found a way to make sure my daughter didn’t go and I’ve had complications every time that I’m not waiting another day I could never express how grateful I am for their head pharmacist there with Dr. Fisher and Dr. Dylan Wilson some amazing work in their hands and my daughters. Thank you guys so much for everything you do.

Travis Daignault These medical providers are great and they care because they are busy. If you make an appointment its okay to wait. You never know if another person is struggling more than you.
Justin Ruesch I have been coming to Family healthcare for a few years now. They are amazing. I have my usual provider that I see, but every once in awhile he is not available and so I have seen a few other providers. They have all been great. I've also used their mental health services. It helped me through some difficult things I was struggling with. The new location has a pharmacy inside. I actually moved all my prescriptions here as well.Pro Tip: Haley (I hope I spelled that right) is phenomenal! She is my go-to. I will happily wait in line until she's available. She is always happy, Friendly, smiling and knowledgeable.I asked her if I could give her a gold star somehow.She laughed and told me that that wasn't an option .I think Family healthcare should definitely add gold stars that could be given to their employees by patients. At the very least a better system to praise employees.Seriously though this girl deserves a raise.

MY R I scheduled an appt for my daughter online very easily which was very nice. We arrived on time for our 3pm appt to see Karen Kadas and were out by 3:20pm. We got our consultation, lab draw, and order. It was beautiful!!! From check-in to check-out, it was just beautiful! I highly recommend this clinic.

M Wyson This place is the best medical center in the world! Dr Fisher is the best doctor in the world! I refuse to buy health insurance and this place let's me pay cash for a Dr visit. I paid $145 yesterday. I visit a Dr about once every 5 years on average. That is so much cheaper than health insurance! Also I called yesterday at 3pm to make an appointment, the receptionist said there was a cancellation and I could be seen at 5pm. Try that with your practitioner.

The rest of the staff at the cedar City office is amazing there always respect full and go over the top for you I would recommend this clink to eny one that is trying to find a new clinic to got to the hole clinic is just wonderful and has made my life better in more ways than one

James Boswell Apparently very good at losing multiple test results. One Paticular doctor is absolutely petty and will hold a grudge, going so far as to drag feet with his job. The techs /nurses seem like they might be in on it.5/5 collecting cash and not providing a service is a meta move
Troy Kanakis I to had an appointment,took off work to go to my appointment as a New patient and got called 2 hrs before my appointment to be told they had to cancel for some reason or another, I was so disappointed I didn't even listen to the reason. Sounds like this place is notorious for this, I recommend going somewhere else. I went in again today and got told they don't do the shots I need. This place is the biggest joke I've ever seen
Stephanie Burroughs Yes. This is a clinic. However, the professionalism and concern for patients more than makes up for that fact. Melissa in particular helped a family member get prescriptions refilled in Utah. Fairly quickly. I was frustrated but she never lost her cool and did what she said she was going to do. The only thing I don't like is, this location doesn't have it's own phone number!It's not really fun to call St. George office listen to all the messages to ask to be transferred to Hurricane office. Then that process is long then ringing and HOPEFULLY they answer. Cause after 2 tries you can tell St.G staff, are annoyed. FHC-GET HURRICANE THERE OWN NUMBER Please? 🌝
